During my stay for carnival, I quickly realized I should have checked the safety of the area beforehand. While the hotel was clean, the lack of windows in the rooms really detracted from the comfort. Plus, there was no hot water, and the noise from the lobby seeped into our room. The restaurant only accepts cash, which was inconvenient. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially for western tourists.
